Zourite barge expertise works. Customer: Nouvelle Route du Littoral (Vinci-Bouygues)
La Zourite is the barge ordered specifically for the gigantic construction site of the new coastal road. The barge was custom-built to install the 48 piers of the maritime section of this new expressway linking Saint-Denis to La Possession. 107 meters long and 44 meters wide, it is fitted with eight legs with a unit lifting capacity of 4,000 tonnes, and a 4,800-tonne overhead crane at a height of 33 meters.

DEP was called in to assess a design mistake in the management of the winch's multilayer spooling.
It was also commissioned to carry out localized corrosion monitoring of the wire ropes using NDT electromagnetic tools.
